Blue Healers

Blue Healers is a roots music duo who incorporate elements of blues and folk with aural landscapes and danceable grooves. 

Don Forsyth is an innovative guitarist with deep blues influences and an unconventional expansive and expressive style. Diane Forsyth is a singer and bass playing songwriter with soul, folk, country and interstellar influences.  
 

Voted Best Duo, Female Vocalist 2025, 2024 and Best New Band 2024 by The Washington Blues Society. They released the album Transmissions in 2023 and the EP Astro Blues in 2024. Blue Healers advanced to the semi-finals at the International Blues Challenge 2024 in Memphis Tennessee. 

A house fire prompted the duo to return to their hometown of San Diego in Winter 2025. They keep a busy live schedule, playing regularly at many fine venues around San Diego County and beyond, adding a top local drummer when needed. The duo have received a warm homecoming welcome with a growing following in Southern California.
